Life at Muthurangam Government Arts College, Vellore
by M. Guruprasath
I am going to be frank and this review is from my heart. Let's start. This institute is affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University and it is an autonomous college. I don't choose this institute the institute choose me that means I randomly attend the counselling that occurs in every college for admission but I don't know that I was going to study in this institution for my next 3 years.
You need to study hard to get into this institution in management or merit wise. I don't prefer the recommendations and caste system that every student from top mark to pass mark must be treated equally. You need to motive yourself to study and the teachers will guide and help you to study but you need to work hard to have a proper and expected result. Nothing is impossible with your effort and hard work.
There are 12 departments in this institution. Each department is best and nice to study but you need to study and improve yourself to get survive in this institution. Teaching is good but the quality of teaching is not as good as I expected so you need to prepare well and study, research, and explore yourself and asks doubts to the respected professors that they will definitely clear your doubts.
I am final year now and I don't know about the placements. As per the information, higher companies will recruit students in the placement period and give expected salary but all you need to do is work hard as well as work smart.
I never been to hostel so I don't know anything about it. You need to know something relevant to anything before you talk and I don't know about the hostel but it seems good and stay at your own risk.
I am to be honest in this review that the building becomes old and there are some cracks in the wall. There are only 3 overall bathrooms available so the infrastructure seems not good for me in my pov and the classrooms are good with light and fan but the outside noise of trucks, buses bikes etc. Sound will disturb me often when they pass so my block has noise pollution. I am being frank about it.
My campus life is such a boring life as I said. I am honestly wake up at 8:25 getting dressed, at 8:40 eats some breakfast at 8:50, and going to college at 9:00 as my house was near to the college. This was my regular campus life. I don't know about the people coming far away from college but if you have college near your home it definitely sucks.
