MGAC Vellore is better Government College

Overall Rating
Muthurangam Government Arts College is established in the year of 1965 by the Tamilnadu Government to provide good quality education to Vellore peoples and also accomplished the goal on that period of time. It is an autonomous institution affiliated to the Tiruvalluvar University. Admissions process is made through the TNGASA website only for applications and the counseling made through the offline mode only. Faculties and HODs are very friendly peoples in this college and also well talented. It is a government college so fees is totally lower.
 

Academics Rating
Muthurangam Government Arts College is an autonomous institution affiliated to Thiruvalluvar university so the syllabus and exams are fully made by this institution and faculties and syllabus framing committee is very talented and updated so the syllabus is always revised every time so academically good and updated. The syllabus will help us to get placed in good companies. The faculties help us to get good practical knowledge to work in future companies and advised us to be doing any of the internships and practice competitive coding also.
 

Faculty Rating
Already told faculties are conducting an eligibility test to get job in this college. So everyone have sufficient knowledge in syllabus and some of them worked in IT also in my department. They are very friendly, punctual and they always welcome doubts whenever you have doubt. Lot of faculties are completed PhD in reputed universities.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average in this college because it is an Arts and Science college. But somewhat they are doing training and campus interviews in the college that will be appreciated as a government college student.
 

Hostel Rating
Both rental hostel and welfare hostel is available for both boys and girls. If you have sufficient money means you should get rental hostel. If you poor means you should get welfare hostel both are having good facilities and good food facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It is old college but infrastructure wise very good compare to other colleges in Vellore city. College have individual department for every department and PG also. Air conditioned auditorium, spacious play grounds.
 

Campus Rating
Coming to my campus life it is a very good experience I got in my life. Because I thought after 12th I will not be able to study further. But I applied TNGASA counseling after 12th I have selected for MGAC it make my dream true Now I am going to get degree in this college. This is my happiest moment in my life. I got good friends and facilities in this college. Campus life is very good from my experience.
