Overall Rating
For your kind information, BCKV have 3 campuses. One in Mohonpur, others are in Burdwan & Susunia (Bankura). I was the student of Susunia campus from 2019 to 2023. So I'm reviewing that campus. Overall experience is good in terms of campus life, refreshment, etc. I choose this college because it is a government college with the tag of BCKV. That's the biggest & only reason I think anyone can choose this college.
 

Academics Rating
On the basis of class 12th marks (Physics + Chemistry +Biology +English) admission list is list is prepared. B.Sc (Hons.) in Agriculture course is vast. We call it every culture. There is 8 semester & almost all major subject are included in this total 4 years duration. During our session, semester fees was Rs. 6775 but it has been increased now. One can choose this course if he or she is interested in rural life, plants, soil, nature, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is not up to the mark in this campus. All faculties are not available in the campus that's why few faculties from Mohonpur campus comes in routine & provides class to the student. Currently there are 8 assistant professors & 1 associate professor. Few teachers are very good in terms of class taking, few are average.
 

Placement Rating
There is no placement facility. Sometimes few companies give recruitment notifications to placement cell WhatsApp group. Only 4th year student is added to this group.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is the best part. Hostel charge is nil. Absolute great hostel. Double room, common room, mess, canteen, etc. all facility is available here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In terms of infrastructure academic building is well structured & big enough. There is total 3 building. One academic, one boy’s hostel & other is girl’s hostel. All three building is up to the mark. Academic building is the largest building here. There is laboratory for each department. Though all the laboratory is not up to the mark as it is a very new campus. It will take some times.
 

Campus Rating
This is the best part of this college. If you want to live the 4 years of your life then this campus won't break your expectations. As only 4 year student is available & total strength is around only 120, both male & female. So there is always a family feeling. All the students know each other very well. Sport facility and cultural program is always available.

    This college provides agriculture, horticulture and engineering facility for B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD. If you are an agriculture aspirant then stop searching, you came to the right place.     My experience is very good in the university. Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is the number 1 state Agricultural University in West Bengal. Its ICAR ranking is 16. Almost 90% students placed in various companies. I belong to a farmer's family. I am interested in agricultural field. I want to research on agriculture in future. So, I have chosen it....     First of all it is the most premium state agriculture university in West Bengal with ICAR accreditation. The most beautiful thing is the student-teacher and senior -junior relationship in this college. The college provides facilities for higher education as well as different government and private sector jobs. The clean and green campus of this college easily attracts the students....
