Best Agriculture College in West Bengal

Overall Rating
This college provides agriculture, horticulture and engineering facility for B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD. If you are an agriculture aspirant then stop searching, you came to the right place. To take admission into this college depends on your 10th and 12th marks. My overall experience was good, as a final year student I can say studying in this premium institution is totally worth it.
 

Academics Rating
In this college B.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Engineering are mainly provided, with these higher studies like M.Sc and PhD are also catered. To get into this institution you must score good marks in your high secondary exams and biology is compulsory as a subject in 12th standard.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are an expert in their fields. They are top rankers in national level exams, with good experience in teaching. Students get so much of help in every situation. They are very helpful, and provide good quality of notes and other study materials.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell. Many students get their placements from different agricultural related companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities at our institution. Different hostels are provided for B.Sc, M.Sc, and PhD by the college authority. Proper security is present with good accommodation of proper bedding material, 24 hours electricity and water supply present in the hostel. The hostel has multiple grounds to play sports activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academics block comprises of classrooms with seating capacity of more than 120 students with good mic systems so that all students can listen properly. Smart boards and projectors are present in the classroom. A hall room, library and all properly equipped laboratories are in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is totally worth it, all hostels have their own canteens, good and delicious foods are provided, and a properly equipped gym is there for health freaks. 2 big fests are conducted every year where big artists come to perform. Overall engagement activities are good for the students.

    For your kind information, BCKV have 3 campuses. One in Mohonpur, others are in Burdwan & Susunia (Bankura). I was the student of Susunia campus from 2019 to 2023. So I'm reviewing that campus. Overall experience is good in terms of campus life, refreshment, etc. I choose this college because it is a government college with the tag of BCKV.     My experience is very good in the university. Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is the number 1 state Agricultural University in West Bengal. Its ICAR ranking is 16. Almost 90% students placed in various companies. I belong to a farmer's family. I am interested in agricultural field. I want to research on agriculture in future. So, I have chosen it....     First of all it is the most premium state agriculture university in West Bengal with ICAR accreditation. The most beautiful thing is the student-teacher and senior -junior relationship in this college.
