Raffles University is the best institution for legal education, consisting of well experienced faculties. The environment, student - teacher understanding, and most importantly the library for law students are the best part about the university. I earned a great proficiency in law subjects because of the faculty members who are very supportive and great academicians. The university chairperson is Hon'ble Dr. J. Meena V. Gomber, which in itself is an advantage, as sometimes she personally indulges with students and provides them with the guidance they need. I heard a lot about this university and when I visited there, I knew that I want to pursue my further studies from here itself.

I pursued BA.LL.B (hons.), from the university, which is an Integrated course. It is a 5 year course which includes legal as well as other subjects such as English, Sociology, Political Science, etc. Since it is an integrated course with honors subject students have to choose a major legal subject after 3rd year, for example, I chose Constitutional Law as my major subject. The admission procedure is quite simple which includes direct admission on the basis of percentage the person has acquired in his / her higher education, along with a quick interview with the admission personnel appointed there. If you want to get indulged in extensive legal knowledge, than this university is a perfect match for you, as the faculty and the other sources it provides you with are commendable.

All the faculty members are well experienced. Almost all of the faculties are Ph.D holders as well as NET qualified which is a prerequisite for any faculty member in legal field. Most of the faculties are NLU graduates too, which somehow impacts the knowledge they impart to us. All the faculty members are very supportive, they supported us in every situation such as during our moot court competitions, examinations, research paper writing, and much more. Because of the help of a senior faculty member I was able to publish my first research article which was based on Tax Evasion as he encouraged me to devolve upon this topic, which I knew nothing about, and he helped me in the research, and that is how I was able to complete it. This in turn proves that, the help we get from faculty members of the university is not limited to core subjects, but they also encourage you to develop your intellect towards other areas too.

Coming from a city which is situated far away from the university, every student wants a great hostel facility which feels like home. Raffles university provides you with the same. The hostels have single occupancy rooms with no disturbance and clean environment. There is 24/7 electricity and water supply, Wi-Fi, laundry service and housekeeping service as well. There are anti-ragging committees also which provide you with the safe environment every time.

The campus is green and clean, along with a scenic view of Aravalli Hills. As they say "First impression is the Last impression", Raffles University proves this phrase, as anyone who visits there, immediately fascinates with the greenery and infrastructure. All the departments have separate buildings with great structure. The School of Law building consists of very beautiful library with extensive book and journals collection. The moot court room is well equipped and surely, it can give you the real court room experience. The university also has volleyball court, badminton court, tennis court, and basketball court. The mess or food court facility is very good, they provide you with delicious and hygienic food, as the mess staff is BCH certified. University also has a great cafeteria with all the facilities and amenities available. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with 24/7 invigilation of hostel wardens, which makes it a safer place for students to reside.

Campus life at Raffles University is filled with joy. You meet different personalities who belong to different cities, have different intellect and knowledge, different need, different behaviour, but they all become like your family because of the great campus life you all share. Debate competitions make you all understand each other's thinking, sitting, and getting to know each other at cafeteria creates a great understanding among you. At the end you are not alone, you graduate from the university with a great family that you make during these 3-5 years. Every year senior batch organizes RPL (Raffles Premier League), in association with the university. This is one of the best times for all the students as these 3 days are full of enjoyment, cricket, and laughter. University also organizes fests and DJ nights on various occasions, which makes the overall campus life very happy.
