Malnad College of Engineering is really a well famed college having excellence from 60 years. Every student here enjoys studying. The students of the college feel much secured even at non college hours. Our college is against ragging. Our college provides multi-facilities like temple and Jnana Mandir for peace mind for the students. In conclusion our college prioritizes the students.

The course I have gained through KCET is EI i.e., ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION. It is a multi field course. We study for both software and hardware fields. The requirements for this course is to pass pre university of second year in science field at minimum of 75% and should write respective entrance exam (KCET). Through this you can enter engineering course with gained rank and percentage.

The faculty members of the branch are very professional in their job and are very friendly in nature. The classes held by the faculties are well understood by the students. If there are any doubts, they are cleared at the time. Students do not hesitate to ask any queries to the faculties. They act as if we are their own children at sometimes.

Malnad College of Engineering is located in Hassan which is compressed of 24 acres landscape. The building constructed has good facilities and have good ventilation facility. Separate buildings are provided for respective branches and the laboratories are well arranged and the instruments are checked in daily routine.

In MCE, the day goes by at a fast rate. It means that the life here is very enjoyable and also the rules must be followed, if not then the penalty is given to the respective student. Our college consists of 12 clubs and there are at least 5 to 6 events are held in the campus. There are at least 2 or 3 events held in a year by the clubs which are crazy. Totally the fests and the club programs are very enjoyable.
