National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar - Review

Overall Rating
Holistically the university is decent, considering the fact that it's a pretty new institute of national Importance. It has been doing great. The placements in other schools are decent and if one really wants to study, they can easily get in this university. The school of law is pretty new to talk about placements but I can ascertain it would do great in the near future.
 

Academics Rating
I m enrolled in B.Sc.LL.B course of the School of law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies of the NFSU Gandhinagar. There is BBA.LL.B course in the Delhi campus of NFSU. The course has an amalgamation of Data Science and Law and the course provides you with two technical degrees. This is a very different course than your traditional law course where one gets to learn data science as well as law.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is as of right now is volatile. They are just coming and going as the school of law is pretty new. New recruitments are in order. Hopefully great teachers will be included. The current faculty is also decent. Further refinements would do justice in executing the school of law they aimed for. A lot of guest faculties are also invited to conduct guest lectures like an Australian space law expert and retired justices of supreme court. The overall experience is great.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is really great due to the fact that it has been built recently and major improvements have been done since the university was declared an institute of national importance by an act of parliament in 2020 along with the Rashtriya Raksha University. The urban campus is really modern but is really tiny but the centre of excellences it hosts is fascinating.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of the institute is just 12 acres with almost no sports facilities in Sector 8 Gandhinagar. The campus does have a small table tennis and badminton complex but that's it. There is nothing else. The fees of the hostel is also not reasonable for a government institute of national importance. The campus is pretty small for hosting 12 different schools. The navratri fest is pretty good other than that the university lacks the fest culture.

    Forensic is a 5 year integrated course which provides us with both bachelors and master's degree. NFSU is the only college solely dedicated to forensic sciences in the whole world. It also not only teaches but also provides training to higher government officials.
