Techno Engineering College Banipur B.Tech Review By Piyush Singh

I personally study in this college as a 1st year student. This college is small compared to other colleges. This college feels more like a school. The facilities in this college are also limited: no Wi-Fi for students, no sitting area, no lift, and no air conditioning (this will change because they are installing air conditioning). There are some advantages too: its closer to my home, fee structure is very pocket friendly, and scholarships.

Entry in this college is very easy. JEE Rank around: 200000 or WBJEE Rank: 90000. Direct admission is also available for mere Rs 5000 more than the normal fees. The student must score above 60% overall to take admission in this college. I m currently studying B.Tech Computer Science. There are only engineering related courses in this college.

Teachers here are very helpful and clear doubts when asked. They relay information in a very professional manner. They make sure that your concepts are clear. They take class test after completing that semester's syllabus. The college classrooms r equipped with smart boards and the teachers are trained to use them.

The campus of Techno Engineering College is not that large but it is quite spacious. There are 3 three buildings connected with each other. There is a badminton court inside and volleyball court outside. The canteen is at the back of the college and the workshop is located in front of it. The workshop is quite huge. The food provided in canteen is very delicious and are provided at a cheap price. My favorite thing about the college is the library it has two floors. Ground floor consists of books and the above it is the sitting area.

The campus life is very fun after class we play volleyball. The seniors are also very friendly and organize various events and festivals. Till now I personally have experienced only 4 events (teacher’s day, freshers, quiz, and debate). The teachers were very helpful in the arrangement of the events. The teachers are also inclined towards sports and push us students to play during lunch time or in free time.
