Overall Rating
It is a good University that offers admission in 100+ courses. It will help students excel in any program they opt. Infrastructure is also amazing. For outstation students, our University provides safe & secured hostel facilities. For all the students primary factor is always studies and Uttaranchal University Dehradun has got this factor covered in the best possible way.

Academics Rating
Tests and exams are conducted very often in my department. Academics are rigorous and curriculum is updated. I can already sense it very clearly that overall, it will help students deal with real-life challenges quite excellently.
Being an Uttarakhand resident, we naturally get a scholarship called 'Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship'. Otherwise, yearly fees including the examination fees is close to Rs. 3,00,000/-.

Faculty Rating
Faculty’s priority is that students learn Law in a best way possible. Therefore, they make every possible attempt to ensure that students always put their best foot forward. In the first year, relaxation has been provided with attendance and internships but from next year 75% attendance for each subject and 2 internships per year have been made mandatory by our faculties.

Placement Rating
All the measures taken in academics are to ensure that students are placed through campus. The exact figures and firms that come for placement are something, which I do not know now since I am a fresher.

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Uttaranchal University Dehradun has hostels for both male and female students. Students even from cities like Kolkata are studying in our University as academics and hostels both are of highest quality.

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the University is quite simple. Each department has its own department building. All the basic facilities related to that particular branch are there in the very same building. Like in a Law department, a seminar hall, a moot court and a mini library is there. Likewise for CSE students, labs and workshops are there in their block. I am naming these two departments as over 60% of University strength is of these two departments.

Campus Rating
So far, my campus life at the University has been excellent. I have a lot of friends. Clubs and Societies had their interviews in the first two months and trust me auditioning for them was a real confidence booster. It also helped me gauge where I stand and the areas I need to work upon to upskill myself.

The best thing about Uttaranchal University Dehradun is its location. It is located near Prem Nagar, which is the main market area of Dehradun. I am from Maharashtra but still chose to study here as living in a mountainous city and enjoying the campus life was kind of my dream. So far, 3 months and mid semester have been completed and so far, it has been so good. I have attended one workshop so far & have learned that many such events keep taking place at our University every now and then.... Read Full Review
