The UU Dehradun campus has world-class educational amenities to provide comprehensive knowledge to the students along with adequate practical learning opportunities. There are 200+ classrooms & smart classrooms available around various academic blocks and are equipped with AC, projector, speakers, projection screen, etc. Other than this, capacious lecture halls, and moot court are also present.
The University’s auditorium named ‘Swami Vivekananda Auditorium’ can accommodate more than 1200 students and is used to conduct seminars, cultural events, hackathon, debates, and much more. It is centrally air-conditioned and equipped with modern AV aids including speakers, projector, digital mixer, etc.
Moreover, there are multiple conference rooms / halls that are air-conditioned and have the latest digital screens, and other amenities installed for hosting conferences, meetings, etc. Furthermore, seminar halls are available within the campus. The one present at the ‘Law College Dehradun’ has a centralised AC, multimedia projector, and sound systems; it has a seating capacity of 500 students.

- Library: The University has a central library that has a carpet area of approximately 2690 square metres and an accommodation capacity of around 724 students. It is fully-stacked with printed & digital learning resources like approximately 1,75,086 books, 16,985 titles, 1,42,694 e-books, 9955 e-journals, 70 print journals, 72 magazines, 14 newspapers, 3368 dissertations, and much more.
In addition to this, there are various departmental libraries located at the respective academic blocks of the campus so that students & faculty members can access the related study materials easily.
Furthermore, there are around 38 digital library PCs that the students can utilise to access the online databases & e-learning platforms like DELNET, National Digital Library (NDL), Swayam, NPTEL, e-PGPathshala, Shodhganga, E-ShodhSindhu, to name a few. The online and digital learning resources can be accessed round the clock by the students. Other facilities include reprography, reference service, book borrowing, and more.
- Laboratories: There is a centralised computer centre at the University’s campus which also includes the departmental computer laboratories. In total, there are around 2800 systems available for official & academic purposes.
