Engineering College is a government engineering College which is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University located in Purulia, West Bengal. It is from 19 km away from Purulia main town. Here only 5 department available CSE, ECE, EE, CE, and ME. Through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination anyone can get admission here. After qualifying the exam as per your rank you will get admission. Being a government engineering college total course fees is approx. Rs. 33600 for core branches (Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil ) and approx. Rs. 57600 for Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering branches.

From this college you will get B.Tech degree only in few branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Only these five branches are available here and in every branch there have 63 seats only. To get admission here you have to qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Admission available only for Home State quota.

Here faculties are very friendly and teach us nicely. Total numbers of faculties are approx. 55 and total number of students approx. 1200 in various branches. Teaching style of every faculty is awesome and there is also have availability of digital classrooms. Most of the teachers are master qualified and experienced.

Yes, in this college there has a Placement Cell which offers various opportunities for placement. Yes, this really helps students to acquire jobs. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, and few such type of companies come to get students.

Yes, Hostel facility is available only for third year and fourth year students. For first year and second year students’ hostel facility is not available.

The college covered approx. 10 acre area. The campus is nice and clean. Within this area all academic building, hostels, and playground all are present. Infrastructure is nice, nice transportation available here, and near the college there have a train station available. Overall infrastructure is nice and anyone can get adopt easily.

Here campus life is very nice. The whole engineering life you can enjoy. There is not any compromise in campus life but only demerit is its location. It located 19 km way from Purulia main town but train facility is available so it’s not a big issue. As the college is located in Purulia so environment temperature may be slightly higher than other areas.
