Modi Institute of Technology, Kota, Rajasthan established in the year of 2001 as the Private Education Institute committed to offer high career opportunities in the field of engineering. It is affiliated with RTU and approved by AICTE.

I am 2016 Computer Science, Engineering passed out. You can get direct admission based on 12th percentage/CGPA. Modi Institute offers graduation courses in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering. Recently from the session of 2020 introduced a new course in the emerging field of "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science." Also, it offers courses at Post-graduation level M. Tech in Digital Communications.

The faculty here is accommodating and experienced. Some of the professors are excellent; they assist students in better learning. They even do counseling and are always available for students. While a few are not up to the mark. The number of faculty teaching is approximately 50 including technical and management staff. There are dedicated department for each branch of engineering.

It has a training and placement cell that keeps the student updated about coming training programs and placements. The placement rate is average yet good in Kota. Companies and Educational Institutes like Vivo, Wipro, Byjus and Resonance hire students from this college. The maximum package offered in recent years is Rs. 2 LPA.

MIT has separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostel facility includes AC rooms both single and sharing (between two students), Non-Ac rooms (single or sharing) a mess facility providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every Sunday they have a special meal. The hostel fees range between Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 a month depends upon rooms and sharing. The quality of food is quite good. You will not sleep empty stomach. There is a warden for both the hostels and is strict in nature. Outing after 10 pm is prohibited. Overall, hostel facilities and food management are good. The hostels are located in the city which makes it feasible for students to shop commodities of their basic needs. The other facility includes laundry, room cleaning and 24x7 medical services.

The infrastructure of the college is good. It has an auditorium hall, labs for different subjects like software engineering lab, database management lab, data structure lab, computer programming lab, and operating simulation system lab. It has an AC library and you can issue 4 books at a time for a period of one month later you can re-issue them. There have an open playground and a sports complex for indoor games and activities. They provide workshops and organize annual events. It has a canteen which doesn't offer variety in food. They also provide transportation facilities for both hostel and non-hostel students. 24x7 medical facility is provided.

The campus is 19 years old but has a beautiful view. The classrooms are big enough for 50 students. Most of the seniors are helping in nature though it depends from batch to batch; Ragging of students is strictly prohibited. Annual fest and celebrations are organized from time to time. There is a dedicated sports day in a week and if you are not into sports you can just relax and have fun with your friends.
