Life at Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore

Overall Rating
Hi everyone, I'm very happy to say about my college experience. I thought I am only studying about subjects but I gained much important knowledge about my college. I choose this college because it's helpful for my parents to pay my fees easily. I choose computer science and engineering in this college. I'm very happy to gain more knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
Telling about the course, as a Computer Science Engineering student I was not at all aware that I could learn these many things after joining. Teachers were very supportive to me and all of the students and mentors really helpful for their motivation to students when we are out of studies mood. Entry to this program requires at least a PU pass out in science. Lateral entry through studying diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
 

Faculty Rating
Saying about HOD, a very humble person. He remembers each and every student name. He doesn't miss speaking to you if you are around him. Mentors are really supportive in our hard times. Teachers are very happy to explain the same topic again and again. They play very important role in grabbing our home time by giving assignments, unit tests, surprise test, etc.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell. For the placement drive. We have extra training sessions to how to understand our stream and how to attend an interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, all girls have a secure hostel rooms in the premises itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College building is a very well constructed with each blocks for each department. There is a lift facility which everyone can use while in college office staff is dedicated for their work. We have a library which is very useful but no one make use of it. Canteen has a very great food. Sports and cultural activities are highly appreciated.
 

Campus Rating
Campus conducts a huge variety of fests and cultural activities in which all of the students can participate. There is a college industrial visits for final year students which gives a good knowledge. We have college trips conducted for final year students which gives immense energy and togetherness to all the students.

    Vemana Institute of Technology is a college of discipline and academics maybe our college is a VTU affiliated college but it gives you the comfort and value just as the private institutions.     The reason of choosing the college was that the management and faculty get involved in lot of cultural things. So it gave a positive vibe when I explored the college. The main thing is that the faculty over here is very helpful, friendly, and they told me exactly what is engineering and what are all the things involved in it and how they are going to help me achieve my dreams.     I was searching for colleges, when I came across Vemana Institute of Technology when they explained in detail about that available course. They asked me which course I was looking after and when I told information science, they admission head took me around the campus, and they showed my course labs.     Vemana Institute of Technology, the college is situated in Kormangala surrounding with all the major and minor distractions in Bangalore.
