A Review on BCA at GD Rungta College of Science & Technology

Overall Rating
After completing my class 12th I wanted to pursue with programming but not Engineering. So I chose BCA and My Uncle suggested me to opt from GD Rungta college (R1). It's on Kurud Road and is well reputed amongst other Rungtas. My overall experience will be different for others because I attended my two years online because of COVID and only attended final year which was good.
 

Academics Rating
When you talk about the eligibility for bachelor of computer Applications, you just need to be higher secondary school pass that is class 12th pass. There is no entrance exam conducted, there is direct admission process in GD Rungta college for bachelor of computer applications. And my main motive to opt BCA instead of B.Sc or B.Tech was because I don't want to study the other boring subjects.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculties at GD Rungta college for bachelor of computer applications are mainly either PhD holders or Pursuing PhD. They are very knowledgeable and helpful in any means. Some subject teachers keep changing. But you will really like mathematics i.e., statics if you pay attention or else you will hate statistics. So, Teachers are good, it all depends on your mindset whether you want to learn or enjoy your time.
 

Placement Rating
There was no placement available for Bachelor of Computer Applications students.
 

Hostel Rating
I didn't opt for hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is divided into 3 blocks A, Block B and Block C. All of the blocks are really beautiful and we'll maintain. For Bachelors of Computer Application classes, you will have your classes in Block C which is behind Block A. And block C is the oldest. Block B is the most maintained and the garden in front of the college is also an attraction.
 

Campus Rating
If you want to go there for enjoying them you will enjoy. The campus life is really fun and teachers are also friendly. The college has a large crowd and there are various clubs / groups within the college where you can join by giving interviews. And when you talk about fests there are many fests organised when I was in my college. And also there is much different type of competitions going on, so, it's an enjoyable experience for me.
