Christ University Bangalore has 2 Libraries Called 'Knowledge Centre' & 'Under-Graduate Library'

I am a student at Christ University’s central campus i.e., Bangalore. I am a B.Sc Physics and Mathematics student, which is a Dual Degree program. The reason why I chose this course is it is one of the best course for Dual Degree in India. I strongly recommend joining this University for this course. The infrastructure at the University is exceptional as well. The one key difference I found here is the curriculum is updated every semester according to the change in the real world teaching real world application skills.

• Infrastructure of the campus includes well-maintained classrooms, 2 libraries which are Knowledge Centre & Under-Graduate Library, separate hostels, canteens, auditoriums, healthcare, and others.

In order to get admission, you can directly apply through website. After that, I received a mail to attend their interview by which the further selection process happens. Once the interview is done, you will get the email from their side once you are selected. The academics give you a great knowledge about the course. Apart from that, they also teach real world skills such as resume building, communication skills and more.

Initially to apply for admission, you are supposed to pay Rs.1000/-, which are non-refundable. Then after getting admission for my particular course, I paid Rs. 85,000/- for first year. If you are a Karnataka resident, you will get a discount and will only have to pay Rs. 60,000/-. There are many scholarships and financial aid available according to your grades and other factors.

When talking about faculties from Physics and Math departments, I have made good relationship with faculties. All the faculties are either Postgraduate with NET qualification and pursuing Ph.D degrees in University. The teaching method varies from teachers to teachers where some of them prefer PPTs while some others use blackboard. All of them are good at solving problem. In the entire University, the teacher student ratio is 5000 faculties for 15,000 students. The faculties are very approachable and friendly and are willing to clear all your doubts.

Placement Cell is very active in Christ University, Bangalore since it is well known for giving their students good placements. You can apply for placement from your 5th semester onwards and they guide you with it. Famous companies like Deloitte Accenture, Ernst & Young, Amazon Infosys, ITC, and many more come for placement drives.

University offers hostels room. They offer good facilities and you can opt for premium rooms as well. Hostlers can use University ground and others small Indore games are also available. Both boys and girls have separate hostels buildings. The mess food is pretty decent and affordable with good quality. The hostel fee is Rs. 60,000/- per year. Hostel rules are pretty strict and there is a curfew of 9 PM.

The infrastructure is top notch consisting of numerous blocks. Classrooms are pretty well maintained with a seating capacity of 60 students. University has two libraries ('Knowledge Centre '& 'Under-Graduate Library'), seminar halls, and auditorium with premium facilities. Campus consists of a good numbers of canteens with humongous dining spaces. For healthcare, there is a department and campus is guarded with securities 24/7. My favorite parts are seating spaces near canteens and park model places, which is very peaceful and convenient.

Overall campus life is decent but with hectic schedule. The University is crowded during peak hours. It has many clubs for example Theater, Productions, and Social Welfare. I am a part of Theater & Production Clubs. As I said, we can participate in many extracurricular activities. University conducts many events for sports and arts. One of the most famous event is Ethnic Day. My overall experience here is amazing.
