Christ University Bangalore Recieved Deemed-to-be-University Status in 2008

The overall experience from University was pretty decent. It was started in 1969 & became Deemed University in 2008. The reason I chose this course in this University is that it is one of the best private Institutions in India with good quality degree course. The key differences I found were quality of campus life, infrastructure, and faculty. Other factors like extracurricular activities updated curriculum, which I could not see in any other colleagues in my hometown. Therefore, my overall experience was pretty amazing and really loved the overall campus experience.

The course I chose is Bachelors in Journalism and English, which is a Dual Degree course the reason why I enrolled is it is a unique course, which is not available all around India. For entry, I wrote an entrance test first where they particularly ask about your knowledge in the subject. Once you are passed in the entrance test, you will be called for interview in campus. If you are selected, then you are eligible to get admission. Exams happen throughout the semester and academics really prepares for you to face real life challenges.

During admission, I paid Rs. 1,28,000/- as tuition fee for a year & Rs. 5000/- as an admission fee which is not refundable. Special discounts are there for Karnataka residents. Scholarships are available and one can apply for it.

I have a good relationship with my faculties these people are very approachable and friendly towards the students.Majority of the faculties hold PhD and postdoc.While some others are postgraduate with net I have a good relationship with my faculties these people are very approachable and friendly towards the students. Majority of the faculties hold Ph.D & PG degrees. While some others are Postgraduate with NET qualified. They are also very intellectual and critical thinkers. The mentor to student ratio in University is 1:3. My experience with faculties is really wonderful as they were really kind & very much approachable regarding your queries, research & many more factors. .They are very intellectual and critical thinkers. The teacher student ratio in university is 5000 faculties for 15000 students.My experience in bonding with faculties are really wonderfull they were really kind are very much approachble regarding your queries research and many more factors.

Placement Cell in Christ University Bangalore is really strong. It helps students with applying for placement and making them meet to different MNCs.

University has two different hostel buildings for boys and girls. Every basic facility has been provided where you can go for upgrade and get premium facilities. Hostel rules are pretty strict and there is a curfew that starts from 9:00 PM.

The Christ University Bangalore has one of the best infrastructures in India. There are 6 blocks in total with a 20000+ seating capacity for classrooms. Other than that, there are 2 libraries, seminar halls, auditorium, and conference halls too. There are humongous dining spaces, many small cafeterias, huge grounds for different sports, medicals rooms, and round the clock security. My favorite part is ‘KE Café’.

My overall campus experience is pretty amazing. Campus is very crowded during peak hours. There are many programs for social, student welfare environmental, arts, and many more. Clubs are actively working in University. I am there part of a Theater Production Club where I am a proscenium head and I also direct theater plays. Many extracurricular activities happen at the premises.
