Academics Rating
I am currently in 2nd year of B.A (Psychology and Economics). This course helps you get an understanding of both Psychology and Economics. The entry requirements for this course are having decent score in Class 10th & 12th. You need have some knowledge about both subjects, as during the interview you will be asked questions to test your basic knowledge about these subjects. There are two exams per semester- mid semester and end semester examinations. In between, you have CIAs - Continuous Internal Assessment.
Since the course I have chosen is a double major course the cost per year is around Rs. 1,25,000/- per year. If you are a non-Karnataka student, it will be around Rs. 1,40,000/-. The application fee varies from Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 1500/-. Once you get into the University, the registration fee is around Rs. 8000/-. Students can also avail different scholarships on their based of their merit.

Faculty Rating
The teachers usually do a lot of research before coming to class. They are well- versed in their subjects our classes are interactive and well planned. The faculty is often available to solve doubts after classes. Most of the faculty is either pursuing their Ph.D or hold a Ph.D degree.

The overall experience from University was pretty decent. It was started in 1969 & became Deemed University in 2008. The reason I chose this course in this University is that it is one of the best private Institutions in India with good quality degree course. The key differences I found were quality of campus life, infrastructure, and faculty. Other factors like extracurricular activities updated curriculum, which I could not see in any other colleagues in my hometown. Therefore, my overall expe... Read Full Review
