I am a first-year student at Christ University Bangalore. There are five campuses of Christ present in India, three in Bangalore, one in NCR, and another one in Pune. I am a student at the main campus in Bangalore. The moment I entered the campus, I realized that this is exactly what CHRIST had in it to offer. Christ is NAAC Grade-A accredited and ranks among the top colleges in India. The university thrives on holistic development and is deeply rooted in inculcating values among students. It breathes diversity and encourages student engagement and participation in a myriad of fests and events. The management is agile and the Christ University admission process is swiftly taken care of. After appearing for nearly 7-8 entrance, Christ University was satisfied with my score. I was about to give up, but all thanks to Christ that welcomes students from all across the country. In a batch of 120, there were students from 20 states of India for sure, including some NRIs. The best thing about the University is its network of alumni that boasts of professors at top universities, IAS Officers, CEO at many corporate houses. There was some friction between management and faculty. It had led to some questions about the University, and that was the only flaw about the University. Students are always encouraged to join symposiums and join a society of their interest. College is quite flexible with attendance, and therefore ODs were given to students who used to go for society meetings during lectures. Merit and management quota are 2 ways of securing a berth here. You will have to shed some lakhs for the management quota as students are always in the queue to get admissions to Christ. Like many other Bangalore colleges, Christ too has a dress code and even on Saturdays when we were allowed to wear jeans under the blazer any inappropriate clothing means you will have to go and change.Read Full Review
