Ramaiah Institute of Technology

The College has set up a Department of Placement and Training which provides training to the students, so that they can gain requisite skills & knowledge in order to meet the corporate demands. In addition, the department has a team which invites leading companies to participate in the Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placement drive.

A number of training programs and activities are conducted to prepare the students for recruitment process; some of them are mentioned below:

• Guest Lectures
• Seminars

Some of the prominent companies that offer job opportunities to the students of RIT Bangalore are Apple, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Philips, Samsung, Honeywell, and JSW.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology Campus covers a land area of around 85 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure and requisite amenities are present within it. The College has spacious classrooms with adequate seating capacity, LCD projectors, and other modern amenities to provide a digital learning space to the students.

In addition, approximately 4 board rooms are there to conduct meetings and each one has a seating arrangement of more than 45 seats. E-learning centre with sufficient number of studio rooms are available to provide a technologically advancement environment to the students.

Apart from this, the College has numerous other facilities inside their premises which are as follows:

• Library: The College has an air-conditioned main and around 5 distinct libraries across the campus which is divided on the basis of disciplines. The main library can accommodate 538 students and it contains textbooks, journals, magazines, newspapers, and other academic materials.
  Moreover, there is a digital library which has around 60 TFT systems and it can be used to access the online resources. In addition, separate sections are there in the library for periodical, technical, acquisition, printing services, etc.
• Laboratories: A centre computing facility is present at the College to enhance the technical & analytical skills of the students. Moreover, to ensure that students get practical experience in their respective field, several high-tech laboratories are present within the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Physics, and others.

• Auditoriums: There is an auditorium within the apex block of Ramaiah Institute of Technology which has around 1000 seats and is used to host co-curricular and academic programs.
• Seminar Hall: The College has built around 5 seminar halls with a seating capacity of around 115 to 315 students. These halls are used to conduct seminars, conferences, and other educational events.
• Canteen: Around 2 food courts / canteens are available within the MSRIT campus which serves North and South Indian food options. Moreover, snacks & juice counters, etc. are present inside the canteens.
• Hostels: Ramaiah Institute of Technology Hostel facility is available for the students with top-notch amenities like furnished rooms, dining halls, indoor & outdoor games amenities, canteen, health centre, etc. to provide a homely environment to them.
• Sports: The College has requisite indoor sports amenities such as Carrom, Table-Tennis, Badminton Court, Shuttle Court, and others. In addition, a multi-purpose ground for outdoor games like Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Football, etc.
  Additionally, the College also encourages students to participate in State or National level tournaments. Moreover, there is a fitness centre which is equipped with treadmill, strength-gaining machines, and other equipment.
• Other Facilities: Parking area, Bank, Post-Office, and other such amenities.
