The experiences I faced from 2015 to 2018 aren't that promising. For B. Com, there are no placements. Without that, too, all the promises that the University made, they failed to deliver on that. The department of examination is the worst that I have seen. I once requested them to give my marks card and they took almost a month to hand it over to me. Other courses are fine here, but not B. Com Hons. The chancellor of the University has changed a lot of functions here to ensure that everything is done smoothly and things have changed from 2015 to 2016. Newcomers might not face such issues, but ideally, I wouldn't recommend anyone MSRUAS for B.-Com (Hons). There are two things which everyone expects from their College or the University, and they are good education and placements. Education was too hard because B. Com had the subjects which were not required. Placements were too sorry to be considered MSRUAS for at least B. Com.Read Full Review
'MSRUAS' is different from many as very soon I made friends with seniors and that got my College life going at the campus. Otherwise, making friends with seniors can be tough, but since the campus is ragging free, I always felt quite secure at the campus. Being an outsider in a state which is local language dominant, it becomes difficult to get going, but not at MSRUAS. The campus had one dominant language and that was English. Everyone knows that with Bangalore the Colleges and Universities over here operate differently. I was, though, surprised by the way they approached education here. Even after passing out, I couldn't figure out the module system that they had put down. I kept presuming that ok, this will happen next or we will be taught a certain way. The back of my mind always kept telling me to put all my thoughts to rest as the University is full of surprises and be ready for some more every other day you woke up. The University was clear that this is how we will take education further and these are our resources. Nothing was left in the hut as the pandora bag opened and showed all the things that University has to offer in the course of three years.Read Full Review
Good things about MSRUAS, let me take those out for readers as there have been a lot of good things. Predominantly it was the education system more than anything else. The University showed us what they expect and what they are made of in the orientation program itself. Our direct competition was MSRIT as there was always a cold war going on between both the Universities. For fests and other competitions, we always had one thing in mind that we want to perform better than students of MSRIT. Even though the University was new, I think the University is ready if they can solve their placement woes. If they can get placements over 80% then I have no doubts in saying that the University is more than ready. They have all the other arsenal in their armory and this was the only area where they lacked. Coming from Haryana to Bangalore and going back without placements was not ideal as more than me, my family was more gutted for me.Read Full Review
