The Ramaiah College of Pharmacy started in the year 1992. It was established under the guidance of the Late Founder Chairman, M.S. Ramaiah. The college is spread across the whopping area of 70 acres, in the M S Ramaiah Nagar, MSRIT Post, of Bangalore. This educational institution was started with the aim of delivering quality education in the field of medicine and pharmacy.
The college is a private institution. Although, it has affiliation from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Apart from that, the Ramaiah College of Pharmacy also has approvals from AICTE and Medical Council of India. The college is currently offering a series of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of pharmacy. The educational institution boasts of having the 16th ranking in India, amongst all pharmacy colleges.
Ramaiah Pharmacy College has a state-of-the-art campus. The infrastructure is modern and has all the latest facilities. The classrooms and labs are well-furnished and have all the equipment. Admission Procedure:
At the Ramaiah College of Pharmacy, the admission procedure is simple and quick. They follow the industry standards and ensure that the entire process is made convenient for the students. Both online and offline modes of applying are available to the students. Firstly, the candidate can fill out the form that entails the necessary details about the candidate and the course of their choice. Then the student has to appear for an entrance exam, which is the Common Entrance Test (CET) for undergraduate courses. The candidates seeking admission in the postgraduate course of Pharmacy need to clear the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). The Karnataka Education Authority holds this exam every year, in the month of May-June. The exam will test the knowledge and skills of the candidates.
Upon clearing this exam, with at least 50% marks, the candidate will be intimated of the merit list. As per this list, the students will be allotted seats in their respective courses. The students will have to visit the campus to fulfil the other requirements. It is essential to carry along all the original documents whichare required for the admission procedure.
