Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy is one of the premier pharmacy institutions in India, founded in the year 1983. Situated in Bangalore, this pharmacy college is the brainchild of Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan. Dr. M. A. Khan established an academic trust-the Al-Ameen Education Society-under the auspices of which the institution was established.
The Al-Ameen Education Society is responsible for conducting and monitoring the day-to-day administration of the pharmacy institute. The institute has the affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. All the six programs offered by the college have the approval of the ‘Pharmacy Council of India.’
A Brief Overview
The college, now in its 35th year, has cemented its goodwill in nurturing pharmacy professionals who’ve hugely contributed to healthcare. The institution has a robust and well-organized academic and institutional infrastructure, enabling the establishment to offer world-class pharmaceutical education. The most notable component of the academic infrastructure is the extremely knowledgeable and experienced faculty who guide the students.
Plans to establish model testing and manufacturing units are on the cards. Once these units start operating, students will be able to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in real life.
