Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Bangalore

MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers its students a wide range of options for both on-campus and off-campus accommodations across both its campuses.

The on-campus residential areas of the Gnanagangothri Campus include two girls’ hostels, namely Saptagiri Ladies Hostel and Gomati Ladies Hostel, and one boys’ hostel which is known as the Ganga Boys Hostel.

The Ganga Boys Hostel and the Gomati Ladies Hostel include twin-sharing rooms which have attached bathrooms whereas the Saptagiri Ladies Hostel includes double and triple-sharing rooms with common bathrooms. A metal bed, a study table, study chair, locker and a chair for visitors is provided in the rooms. The Vivekananda Hostel located in the Peenya Campus of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences has a total of 122 rooms which are twin-sharing with attached bathrooms.

These hostels also include a student lounge on each floor, laundry facilities which are chargeable, HD & LCD Televisions in the common rooms located on every floor. In addition to this, doctors are available in this hostel between 1:15PM to 2:15PM from Monday to Friday.

Students require the following documents while taking admission in these hostels:

• A filled Hostel Accommodation Contract which should be signed by the required authorities.
• Two passport size recent photographs.
• Receipt of payment of tuition fees.
• Photocopy of hostel deposit receipts.

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences hostel safety is efficient with security guards at hostel entrance, multiple CCTV Cameras installed across the hostel and a residential warden. Entry and Exit in the hostels is permitted only after registration.

The on-campus hostels of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences are managed as well as run by the University itself. Guidelines, Rules and Regulations have been decided to ensure the safety of the students as well as the smooth functioning of the hostels and the students residing in these hostels are expected to abide by these rules strictly.

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences hostel rules are as mentioned below:

• The residents are not allowed to switch from their allotted rooms without taking permission from the authorised personnel of the hostel.
• Renewal of ID Cards every six months is mandatory and this ID Card should be carried by the hostellers at all times.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited.
• Any sort of misbehavior may lead to expulsion from the hostel.
• Tobacco and other related stuffs are prohibited in the hostels.

The students residing in Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences hostels may be evicted if they do not follow the above mentioned rules, or if they fail to pay the hostel fee on time.
