Ramaiah Institute of Technology Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Bangalore

The Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT), Bangalore has around 4 hostels including ‘Fresher’s Block’, ‘Aryabhatta Block’, ‘Ratan Tata’ and ‘Post Graduate Boys Hostel’ to offer residential facilities to male students. In addition, the College has separate hostels for female students. Moreover, all the hostels are managed by ‘Gokula Education Foundation Trust’.

The hostel rooms at the College are available on single and double occupancies with adequate facilities like reading table, bed, cupboard, etc. Additionally, requisite safety measures are taken by the concerned authorities to provide a safe & reliable environment to the students residing at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology hostels.

The concerned authority of the RIT Bangalore has set some rules & regulations for the residents in order to maintain decorum in the hostel premises. Below-given are some of the Ramaiah Institute of Technology hostel rules:

• Consumption of non-vegetarian food, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and so on are strictly prohibited within the hostel premises.
• Serious action will be taken against the students found disturbing other hostellers after 10 PM.
• Residents are not allowed to gather in groups within the MSRIT hostel rooms for any reason.
• Use of electrical appliances like iron box, speakers, water heaters, and others are not permitted.
• Hostellers should avoid cooking or bringing outside food inside the hostel rooms.
• Students must notify the warden in writing if they are planning to stay outside the campus for more than 24 hours, including their expected return date. Uninformed absence from the hostel for over a month can lead to the cancellation of accommodation with the security deposit being used to cover all the students’ dues.
• Change of rooms is not allowed without the permission of the concerned authorities.
• Students shall strictly refrain from writing or displaying any kind of offensive slogan, posters, or images within the hostel premises.

At the Ramaiah Institute of Technology Campus, there are about 4 hostel blocks within the campus to offer accommodation facilities to male students including Aryabhatta Block, Fresher’s Block, Ratan Tata Block, etc. Moreover, the hostel rooms for boys’ are furnished with all the requisite facilities like bed, reading table, cupboard, etc. and are offered on single and double sharing basis with attached / common washrooms. Moreover, residential facilities for female students are available.

Around 2 dining halls with a mess are present at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology hostels to facilitate students with healthy & nutritious North and South Indian food. Also, students get 4 vegetarian meals a day including breakfast, lunch, evening, snack, and dinner. Also, a night canteen is available to offer snacks & beverages to the residents up to 11 PM.

To provide medical services to the students, a health centre is present with a senior Doctor. Also, in case of emergencies, residents are transferred to ‘Ramaiah Hospital’. For the hostellers, dedicated recreation halls with facilities like TV, magazines, etc. are available. In addition to this, indoor and outdoor games amenities are offered for the students.
