Shia PG College B.Com Review By Onaiza Ashraf

I am pursuing CA along with my B.Com. The college is lenient in attendance and supportive of my course. I provided with online mode as I was unable to attend class regularly. Along with leniency with attendance college provides lot of courses for free and job mela every year for jobs. The faculty is amazing and supportive. Uniforms are mandatory for girls.

You are required to have minimum marks of 50% in your board to enter the college merit list. Though there is a different merit for girls and Shia Muslim students. The college provides with practical knowledge of the course with its amazing staff. The college offers other courses too such as Law, B.Sc, BA, etc. The quality of education is amazing and constantly improving. The College also has A grading from NAAC.

The faculty of Commerce in Shia PG college is supporting , empathetic, and competent. The communication between the faculty and students is smooth and easy going. The teachers are always ready to help with whatever they can you their students, not only with the academic knowledge but also the practicality of things. Most of the faculty has degree of doctorate in their major and some of them have exceptional degree of masters. They are very helpful and accommodating

The college conducts yearly job mela for the students to secure jobs at campus itself. The placement opportunities are provided by the college but the students have to work hard to secure them. The Faculty guides the students to seize the jobs at the college campus itself at the job mela. There are many students who have benefited from the college initiative to provide campus placements. The college improves every year in providing placements.

The college does not provide with the facility of hostel. Though the location of college is in the main city. But the facility of hostel is unavailable. But you can easily commute if you live in Lucknow itself or stay in a nearby rental apartment, PGs, etc . As the college lies in the main city it is easy to find these facilities at various prices .

The college has two teaching campus one in khadra and another in nakhas. The college has one central library and departmental libraries for each department, separate building of each department and conference hall, examination hall, class rooms, playground, basketball court, football court, track field, kabaddi court, etc. The college also provides with the parking space at both of its entrance, well equipped laboratories, and sports equipment too. The college is located in the main road of kharda so the parking is really crucial for that area.

The college conducts yearly cultural fest to keep the students in touch with their culture, it also has respective clubs to allow students to participate in their interests along with their academics in college. The college also conducts regular competition both inter college and intra college to keep the students motivated, enthusiastic, and engaged in their college life. The college also supports students in their sports career with best coach in each field and also conducts extracurricular activities regularly for both students and teachers. It also has a team of NCC and sports teams. The winner of the competition is awarded with cash prize and certificate which can be used in their CVs too .
