I had an average experience at the college. The campus is average but the atmosphere here is good. We will have a good experience here and we will have ample opportunities here to learn new things and the college is 60 acres large. I choose the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad because of the Campus located in a good location and many facilities are also provided. It's great to be here. The students here are so talented and have good spirit. I have chosen this because of this college's average package. Also, before our batch IIIT Dharwad had a temporary college and from our batch the permanent college had also gotten ready. Like all other IIITs it is an Institute of National Importance and we will get that recognition as an IIITian. I may not say it as a best IIIT but can say a good IIIT. Fee is too high and I don't think it as fair to collect that much fee for the available facilities. When I joined, we just got the permanent campus and we hoped it would get better than what was expected. But the improvement is not like exponential rather I would say linear. IIIT Dharwad is the new IIIT established in 2015. It is the Institute of National Importance. It is situated in Hubli-Dharwad city of Karnataka.
