Genuine Review of IIIT Dharwad

Overall Rating
It's great to be here. The students here are so talented and have good spirit. I have chosen this because of this college's average package. Also, before our batch IIIT Dharwad had a temporary college and from our batch the permanent college had also gotten ready. Then I thought like we will have a great opportunity than previous batches.
 

Academics Rating
Here in IIIT Dharwad, they start teaching you the core courses for the first year. Like other colleges, they don't teach the most common subjects for all branches. So they start early, also you can learn early compared to other colleges .Also here the curriculum is well prepared and so flexible for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties, here are done Ph.D in well recognised institutions like NIT, IIT etc. Some lectures are done masters in foreign. They teach you till the intermediate level of the course in a practical manner, it is up to your self interest to learn till what extend. They teach most of the lectures through slides.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell at our Institute. They bring good companies to the students. Also, they bring you internships, job opportunities for the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities in our institute. As it is a new campus, we have very clean rooms and bathrooms too. Also they provide good quality food to the students. For each room four members stay till second year and from then 3 students per room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good, but the college construction is in the first phase as they are very less blocks. We have canteen facilities and also all sports facilities in the campus. Even the infrastructure of the classrooms is so pleasant to study. But here the library is not too good it’s very small. It still needs to develop a lot.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is good, because they haven't celebrated many cultural events and fest like other institutions. But here we get an opportunity to participate in clubs or any activities. Also, the girl ratio with boys is very less. The one thing I like here is the sports facilities, we can utilise more.

    There are quite many reasons for choosing this college, especially because of a government funded institute. I personally don't insist someone to join this college but as of my opinion this college gives everything you need for a pleasant atmosphere to study.   • Hub of Technology and Innovation with Scope for Growth

    IIIT is one of the National Importance institutes in PPP model that is Public Private Partnership. It is also a member of the reputable IIIT network in India. For those who are interested in technology, it provides a targeted curriculum, particularly in Science and Electronics. It offers only three courses CSE, DSAI and ECE in Bachelor of Technology.     I had an average experience at the college. The campus is average but the atmosphere here is good. We will have a good experience here and we will have ample opportunities here to learn new things and the college is 60 acres large.     It has been since I had joined the college IIIT Dharwad. I have found some pros and cons in the college. It was pretty decent having an experience in the college.
