Overall Rating
I have chosen this college because it is best for my rank. The city has good climate and it is a culturally rich state. The environment of the college is very nice and various research facilities are also available here. There is a start up center which is useful for students. That's why I choose this college instead of other colleges.
 

Academics Rating
The academics in Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad are very good due to their strict policies. It provides a good grip in every subject excluding core subjects. It hands a good experiences in laboratory and workshops including engineering drawing lab. Here are students are exposed to a lot of practical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties who are working in IIT Palakkad are very experienced and very friendly with all the students and the Ph.D scholars who are available in laboratory are very helpful for us. The faculty makes us very confident to attend the interview. The faculty is very humble with all the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placements in the IIT Palakkad are decent and the percentage of students overall under graduation is 90.28%. The highest package is 46.16 LPA and the median package is 11.50 LPA and the average package is 13.93 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are many hostels in the college there will be three persons per room. The food will be good and the cooking place will be very hygienic. Good water facilities are available in the hostels. There are very less restrictions for the hostellers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is very good because it is built very recently in the year of 2015. There are three main buildings Saraswati block which is for academics and Abdul Kalam block for research and Bridhavani and Tilang for hostels and Samgatha block for laboratory and workshop.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of IIT Palakkad is very beautiful and the environment is very nice. The staff is very helpful. We have multiple canteens in our college. There are many clubs like dance, drama, machine learning club and coding club. Different activities and fun events are also organised by the students. There are anti ragging communities in the college.
