St. Aloysius B.Com Review By Ananya

I had made up my mind to join Aloysius from the very start as I have heard about the college. Many of my older friends have joined the institute and said they held no regrets same with me. The campus is very huge and has held many programs and events such as TEDxSAC, Rapitox etc. The college has many facilities which make it a very student friendly place. Our college has counselors with whom we can talk about our mental health.

I had chosen B.Com with CA. CA classes are taken up by KVC academy and the classes are from morning 7am to 12:35 pm which is very convenient as we get lot of time to revise and prepare for the next class. As for the entry requirements the admission is online but we have to give an offline interview. Eligibility criteria for joining B.Com in 2023 were 75%. Here in Aloysius you can find students from different backgrounds which help a person to grow as an individual. There are tons of opportunities which help a person to become confident and come out of his / her shell.

One of the best things about Aloysius is its faculty. The faculty here is very friendly and their teaching style is unique. Faculty will joke around and have fun but will be very serious when it comes to studies. They will help the students in understanding the topics properly. The lecturers here are very helpful. They will listen to your problems and will also help you in solving them.

We have an admin block where there is UG office, UG library, and Principal chamber. In Admin block BA and BCA classes take place. Arrupe block is for B.Com and BBA students. There is an indoor court, IQAC office and NAAC coordinator office. Maffie block has computer labs. Xavier block is for B.Sc students. Other than these we have LCRI block. Each block has its own director.

Campus is filled with greenery. Crowd is a bit huge but it is managed well by the college. There are tons of activities taking place every day in all the corners of the college. My favorite event was TEDxSAC where they call speakers from different places and profession and we listen to them talk about their journey. My favorite part about TEDXSAC was where we spoke and engaged with them. There are tons of activities taking place all over the college. Each department has its own fests and everyone is invited to participate in these blocks. As of clubs there are more than 40 clubs to join. For professional batches (morning batch) there are separate clubs but they are free to join any club they wish to.
