Overall Rating
L.D College of Engineering is Government Engineering College in Gujarat and is one of the oldest and Prestigious College in the State. I have spent my 4 years in this college and it's really worth it and the placement here are quite nice. I have heard that the college provides good academics and placements that's why I have taken admission here.
 

Academics Rating
I have taken admission in Electrical Engineering here. And for that you have to score a decent percentage of 75+ in boards and a good GUJCET percentile to get admission here. I was passionate more in electrical field and the future is also very bright in renewable energy so it is worth it to take out this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here are highly educated and experienced throughout and most of them hold Ph.D degree here. They teach us in a very professional manner and talking about the faculty, they help us to make our future bright and secured. Most of them have 15+ years of teaching experience and they are recruited through GPSC exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell here. They organise different counseling sessions first and then they call different companies for the placement like L&T, Adani, Reliance, etc. The placements are very high here like 70% of the students get placed every year.
 

Hostel Rating
We have six boy’s hostels and 1 girl’s hostel. The fees are very less like 1200rs per year. The hostel is equipped with modern facilities for a student to live and learn comfortably.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have 9 blocks here and more than 15 engineering branches in BE. The structure of the college is quite old as it was built in of 1948. Library has been renovated recently and is equipped with modern facilities for the students and there is a play ground as well for sports activities. A canteen is also present in the college.
 

Campus Rating
We have many clubs here like Robocon, Dhanak, Coders Club, and many more. Lakshya fest is organised every year in the college and students from all over Gujarat come to participate in it. The college is very crowdie as more than 4000 student study here. It is one of the biggest colleges in Gujarat.

    This institute is government aided and affiliated with GTU and hence it has very nominal fees and its placement and campus are also good. Students here are also very helpful in many ways.     The campus is good and clean. Most of the faculties are very calm and helpful. The placement process is also very good compared to other engineering colleges. They organize many cultural and educational events time to time such as Hackathon, Prarambh, Lakshya, Udaan, etc. L.D. College of Engineering also takes students to industrial visit time to time....     It has good and huge infrastructure. Faculties are also very supportive and kind. It provides all needed facilities like sports ground, clubs, auditorium, discussion room, etc. It provides industry related curriculum so I prefer this institute instead of other colleges.     Overall very great experience and good campus life at L.D. College of Engineering, classroom and labs are very clean. And facilities in labs are well equipped. Sports facilities like cricket ground, badminton ground etc. where students can play.
