JEE Main and MHT-CET for Admission in SRCOEM Nagpur

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering is the best college in Nagpur for Engineering courses. The college gives more importance to education and providing skills to the students which the company is looking for in a student during campus placement.

There are various courses offered in this College such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mechanical Engineering, and so on. There are two ways through which you can get admission here: one is JEE Main and the other is through MHT-CET exam. My main motive behind getting admission in this college was to pursue my interest in my desired Computer Science field and explore the various coding languages along with creating various projects in this particular domain.

The teachers of Shri Ramdeobaba College rely on a practical approach instead of theory. They make sure that each student understands the topic and also develop a good problem solving ability for encountering different problems. Each faculty holds an M.Tech degree and has a very good knowledge about the industry and the standards of the same. They take the curriculum steadily and are overall brilliant teachers.

College has a dedicated Internship & Placement Cell which helps the students in honing their skills and creating a resume which matches the industry standards. There are various companies which approach the college for campus placements which include J.P.Morgan, Reliance Jio, Tata and Wipro. The number of students placed here is more than 85%. The average package which is given to students ranges between 7 LPA to 9 LPA.

Ramdeobaba College of Engineering has two separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostel is provided to all the students residing outside of Nagpur. The hostel life of the students is very pleasant. The rooms are in a very good condition as you get a bed, study table, cupboard and other top class amenities. The washroom facilities of the hostel are also very good and are well taken care of by the college management. The hostel is inside the premises of the college campus which is very convenient. The mess is inside the hostel and the quality of food is also very good when compared to mess of other colleges in Nagpur because it is regulated by the college administration. The girls’ hostel is also very safe and secure; entry of boys is prohibited in the girls’ hostel. Girls are not allowed to enter and exit the hostel after 10 PM. Both of the hostels are well maintained with a great environment.

The infrastructure of the college is excellent, the classrooms are great, and the labs are in a great condition. They have all the latest technology and high-end computers with all the required specifications for efficient work and learning. Initially, in the first year, we have to sit in a common building and from the second year onwards, we are transferred to our respective departments. We have various grounds for different sports and a parking lot in the college, which is under CCTV surveillance.

The campus life is very good as there is no pressure for assignment and lab work. There is a perfect balance between studies and extra-curricular activities. There are also various clubs present in the college which help the students to engage in them and explore their interests in different fun activities, The Nautanki Club which focuses on theatre, screen play and drama is very fun. The crowd of the college is also very good and respectable. Overall, the campus life in this college is sublime.
