The National Institute of Management and Technology popularly known as NIMT is an institute with a good infrastructure and 5 campuses spanning across Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Jaipur. The institute offers MBA in HR, Finance, General, IT and Operations as well as PGDM in various specialisations that span up to 29 subjects. The fees is reasonable at 5 lakh INR for two year at the Ghaziabad and Jaipur campus; MBA is offered at Greater Noida campus at INR Rs. 2,42,000 which is quite reasonable in my opinion. I have never heard of the institute being famous because of any bad reason whatsoever. They select students through CAT and GMAT.

I did my MBA in Finance and found the quality of studies good. Though there are a few faculties that were new, the experienced faculty is nicer and better in teaching and making the concepts clearer than the new faculty. They provide complex case studies to solve so that the students are prepared to solve the real life cases since their B school days. Very competitive environment with students vying with each other in all the areas of the curriculum which include festivities, their preparation and not to forget the academics. This competitive environment made me realise the cut throat competition in the corporate world which I entered after the completion of my two year course from here.

Faculty is a beautiful mix of new and experienced teachers. I found experienced teachers better in understanding the concepts and making the students learn those concepts efficiently. The new teachers are great too. They are up to date with the new case studies as well as the current trends that are going on in the industry. I found the quality of lectures is good too with the main focus on developing competitiveness amongst the minds of the students. Faculty is good at solving queries and does so with patience and understanding which in my opinion is a must otherwise the concepts regarding the situations might not be cleared and this can lead to further problems.

Placements are good with the top companies visiting. Finance being the most sought after specialisation here but the best placements are for those that opt for IT and operations with the packages going as high as 28-40 lakhs at a senior level. The same for marketing is 15- 40 lakhs per annum, that in finance is 35-50 lakhs per annum and that in HR is 28- 40 lakhs per annum. I got placed with a handsome salary and I am a part of the alumni group of the college.

The cleanliness within the chaos is extraordinarily terrible. Likewise, there aren't several food retailers you'll visit within the event that you just do not take care of the food within the portion. Moreover, no non-veggie lover food is accessible within the grounds. The net speed is overly delayed by the present measures. For the foremost half, you'll barely ever get a speed over 700KBps. If it will not exceed your expectations, it will at least meet them. Infrastructure is beautiful with nice seating arrangements and a professional look. Once you settle down in the classes, you will feel glad that you came here. Food was really good initially though later on the mess was like any other mess. The food in the later days was not very good and I did not find it very tasty though some dishes were surely great in taste but if I talk about the daily food, it was just normal as in you eat because you have to.

The campus life is great with students from all around India approaching and studying with us over here. The exposure is great and allows the opportunity to grow. Different fests and festivals are celebrated too with organisations done by students themselves which gives new experiences and a great surge of excitement. This also allows for the development of leadership amongst the students since they learn how to take the initiatives. I organised several activities and learned a lot about the team work. We did everything together and realised the importance of different activities. I Learned to manage different tasks at the same time which allowed for overall personality development which is a good thing to learn if you want to go for jobs in the corporate world.
