Overall Rating
Overall the college is for you if you are serious about your career. Campus size is small. Placements are not that out of the box but still I choose this college as my JEE Mains score was enough to get into it. It is the best state movement college as compared to any other college in Madhya Pradesh.
 

Academics Rating
Academics in SGSITS can be considered good enough. To get into top BE courses in this college one needs to score anywhere above 93 percentile in general category. 85 percentile is enough to get into lower branches. Circuital branches start from 88-89 percentile (JEE MAINS).
 

Faculty Rating
Almost 60% of the faculties in the college are either pass out from reputed IITs, NITs, or are pursuing Ph.D. Faculties are old here. One will find majority of its faculty to be of the age of around 60. As far as knowledge is considered it’s hard to find a better state government college than SGSITS.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average. Ranging from 3.2 lakhs to as high as 51 lakhs. One who is focused and dedicated towards his / her academics will for sure be placed even in the lower branches.
 

Hostel Rating
There are in total 3 boys hostels and 2 girls’ hostel. Hostels according to me are not worth but if you have never experienced a hostel life this is the best place for you.
 

Infrastructure Rating
SGSITS being a very old college infrastructure is decent enough. Although hostels need to be reconstructed as soon as possible but the departments buildings are nice specially the newly built ones like the New Lecture Theatre, Advanced Training Centre, Information Technology Department, etc. A lot of renovation work is going on.
 

Campus Rating
As far as clubs are considered, there is a huge pool of clubs for you to select, varying from Kshitij the dance and music clubs to GS Motor sport the automobiles club. Campus life is not that vibrant as after 9 PM there is no crowd in the campus. There is AYAAM the cultural festival of the college which is fun to attend but do not expect a highly funded festival as of IITs.

    There is no doubt that SGSITS is the best engineering institute in Madhya Pradesh. The placement is very good. In some cases, it is also comparative to some NITs. In terms of academics, you know very well that this institute excels in this department also. Apart from this, the sports facilities are also good here. The alumni connections are also excellent.     SGSITS is better than other institute in placement, academics, faculty, infrastructure, etc. The only reason to choose this institute is package, which attracts me the most.     As many of us already knows that this is the best institute of Madhya Pradesh. Its placement rate is very high as compared to other institutes. The campus life is also decent.     Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is Madhya Pradesh’s top government college. The campus is of 37 acres. Campus is full of greenery. For some students, campus might be small but it has various sports facilities such as basketball, football, volleyball court, and tennis courts.     It is one of the most popular and oldest institutes in MP. As it provides number of courses in which students can enroll. The campus is not so big but good enough with all facilities.
