My overall experience about this college is good. The entire environment is very peaceful. Teaching staff and non-teaching staff behave very politely with their students in any situation. There are various types of UG courses. This college is not so big and not so small. Here a student can complete his honours (B.Sc, B.A, and B.Com) and generic course easily.

I'm a 3rd year Honours student of Sociology. Here, a student can complete his/her UG course in any subject easily. Only 50% marks should be obtained in the subject in which the student wants to get admission. A student get better facilities if he/she get admission in Aquaculture, Fishery, Nutrition, Zoology, Geography, History, Bengali, Music, Botany, commerce departments. Very few students get admitted here in pure sconce courses (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, etc.).

The teaching staff is very helpful. They all have done there UG, PG and PhD courses. If a student faces any problem in his/her educated subject, the teachers teach very politely and try to solve their problem. So a student can tell their education problem without hesitation. Various types of specimen are easily stored in the department, which help for educational improvement.

Every department in this college is separate from each other. In every department there are different staff rooms, laboratory, laboratory materials, etc. There is a library. In library a student get any author's book easily. Various types of book are available here with a lot of pieces. But some books are available in few pieces. And it's a good environment.

Our college is not so big and not so small. There are a canteen, common rooms (separate for boys and girls). In these places students can roam freely. Our college organizes a grand fest and fresher’s arrival program in every year. In these type of program students can freely enjoy. Our college also organizes various cultural programs and sports competitions every year. In every year our college organizes a blood donation camp in which the students can participate for helping the poor people.
