KLNCIT established in the year of 2001, it is accredited by NBA & AICTE, and affiliated with Anna University. The college is situated in the Sivaganga district which is 11km far from Madurai city. The college has a spacious environment with natural airflow and every class does not require any artificial lightings. Admission can be processed through TNEA if your Higher secondary schooling cut-off ranges from above 160 out of 200. By the counseling drive conducted by Anna University, you could easily crack into the college with a minimum payable fee structure if your cut-off is above 160. The college management concentrates more on discipline. I would rate it as good for their effort to bring the involvement in academics.

I chose B.E Civil Engineering. No entrance exams are required if you have 160+ cut-off marks in higher secondary then you are eligible to join hands with this institute. Initially, I admired high-rise buildings, bridges, culverts, etc. those things wonder how these structures are being built within the stipulated time. The subjects which were involved in each semester will help us in the future. Lab facilities are above the mark which will help us in placing jobs.

Adequate number of staff members was present during 2018 near about 15 staff faculties gave their best knowledge to their budding engineers. Overall, the college has handled 75 no of staff members. Each & every staff must have done Ph.D. or should be in pursuing the same & who must have minimum 5 years of experience in particular subjects. And some staff had working experience in the field of civil engineering. They have vast knowledge in a particular field and they share with us with excitement.

Once in a semester, they conduct training & placement classes for all students. Unfortunately, no placements had been done in core fields but non-core companies like Sutherland, Ethnus, etc were brought to our college. And some of them got placed in the same. The average package of Rs 2.2L per annum has been offered by Sutherland and some other companies had offered 1.90 LPA. 35% of college strength got placed in that placement program. It exists to 10% of department strength.

Yes, Off-course. This college has hostel facilities inside the college campus. A separate hostel for boys & girls is available which could accommodate 100 students in the hostel for which they would charge you Rs 70k per year including food. I would rate average for the quality & taste of food. ATM service is available within the range of 1 km. Security facilities are active around the clock even on Sundays & holidays also. All local foods and traditional foods are cooked in the hostel mess with average taste. Both Private and Public transport is running at regular intervals of time.

Approximately, the college has 15 acres of area which includes separate blocks for each department, cafeteria, labs, etc. Lab facilities are too good with well-equipped instruments. Classrooms are spacious which could easily accommodate 70 members without any congestion. The college management motivates those who are good in sports by sending them to different college competitions like zonal, inter-college sports meet-ups. They sponsor and provide scholarships to those who won the district competition. The library is filled with books related to technology with both local & foreign authors. Cafeteria area which could board 250+ members at a time and it is partitioned by a wall to give access to both boys & girls. An ambulance facility is available 24x7.

The journey with this college campus was good for me and I enjoyed it. Sports meet up is being conducted each year by clubbing the students to different house flags and prizing ceremony honored by the chairman & the principal of the college. Symposium in a year by inviting the inter-state college students. The symposium contains seminars about certain topics, conducting fun competitions, and technical quizzes. All the winners of the competition are honored by providing trophies or by cash price. I would like to rate this KLNCIT organization as 6 out of 10.
