IIIT-AGARTALA established in 2018 as this college doesn’t have its own campus we share the campus of NIT Agartala with hostels and mess as well. So as the name suggests this college works on PP model this is Public Private Model. So its fee is little higher than other government colleges. As we are sharing campus with NIT we got chance to study with brilliant minds of country and with them we are also progressing.

Though we are studying in IIIT but still we are following the curriculum of NIT Agartala which is little old fashioned to me. As in other IIITs you get to study coding related subjects from 1st year onwards but here we are studying same physics, chemistry, and maths with other subjects like professional communication English, graphics, mechanics, and other which made me think that we are lacking behind from other IIITs.

Though IIIT have its own faculty in campus but in first year we were taught by NITs faculty which is well and best in their respective fields. In 2nd year we were taught by faculty of IIIT as well NIT which gave us a plus point of studying in NIT by NIT teachers even though we are in IIIT. Both faculties are good in their own manner and both are helpful and supportive.

Yes, we do have Placement Cell in our institute and yes, this helped many students securing high and good paying jobs. The highest package of this institute is 1.15crore which is off campus and highest domestic package is around 58 lakh which gave us insights of the college's good Placement Cell.

Yes, we do have residential facilities in our college and hostel for first year students is quite impressive. I'm not boosting but our first hostel are far good than those of IITs. Though in first year you got double occupancy rooms but from third year onwards you have you own single room which is super good, large, and clean. Even the maintenance of hostel is good everyday sweeper comes and clean the corridors and empty garbage bins which make overall stay quiet good.

So infrastructure wise the college is good. Though for me the first impression of infrastructure was not that good but then I got to know that only for first year students this is not good in second year we got our own department buildings which is well equipped and modern. We also have super computer in our CSE department and a MAC lab full of apple products and breathe taking North-East scenery which make environment and stay more calming. And yes, we have North-East's biggest stadium here for sports enthusiasts.

The campus life is good you made friends with which you laugh, you play, you code, you study, and you share your life goals which connect you with them. The crowd is not that big you only got to see second year seniors here most of the time because 3rd seniors were in internships or in their room building, their future same goes with 4th years. Here we have variety of club in which both NIT and IIIT students can take part. If we are talking about fest then we have big fest named 'Moksha' here and a new Tech-Conclave is going to start here from this year onwards. We do have variety of clubs for every kind of activities from literary to sports to drama to coding to social clubs like 'WeCan' where students taught underprivileged students of nearby villages.
