Honest review on PTU

Overall Rating
Overall my experience is going great here. This university provides a better environment for study. All teachers are good here and friendly. I'm student of 2022 batch and life is going on this campus is good till now. You should go for this college as it has many facilities like computer centres, well maintained seminar halls, a huge library, well maintained labs, and many more things. All Faculty is Ph.D holders.
 

Academics Rating
I'm student of B.Tech CSE (computer science engineering) batch 2022. To take admission in this course in PTU you have required some criteria. Like you have good marks in 12th class because from now on direct admission is going on from 2022 batch so selection is on the basis of 12th marks. My motive is to become software engineer so that's why I choose this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in this campus is too good and all the faculty is Ph.D here except guest faculty, they are master degree holders. Faculty used modern ways to teach. Teachers are multi-talented and have full of knowledge of modern world. Some teachers are strict some are very good and have friendly nature. There are tutorial classes for doubt solving. Every week each subject has each tutorial class.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is good in PTU but not too good. Average package is 4 LPA and very few companies visited here.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are also good. Hostel Life is also going good here. A room with 2 person sharing, and a room with 4 person sharing is available. Infrastructure of hostel is also great. Well maintained and cleaned daily. Mess food is normal not too good sometimes but good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is great and attractive. Red stone building has its own attractiveness. There are 2 academic blocks in the college.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in this college is going good till now. From batch 2022 there is a lot of crowd due to increment in admission seats before it is only 60 seats in CSE but now 380 seats are in CSE branch only. So there is lot of students now. Fests are organised, other social activities are also held here. Youth fest is also a fest that university celebrates every year. So, the overall campus life is good.

    So, I joined this college thinking it would be a game changer for me, in one word college is average, but it turned out to be mix of good and okay experiences. Infra wise, the place is quite decent, we have well- maintained buildings, air-conditioned classrooms and a big library (open Monday to Friday 9-5 pm). While the facilities are great, there's still room for improvement in every areas. The teachers are friendly and supportive, which can be a reason I decided to study here. All in All, it's...     My overall experience is good here. This is a state government technical university so they provide scholarships to the students and that is why I chose this college. Its admission starts after the 12th result through online counseling. The fee structure is relatively more nominal compared to other universities.     The university was good as the infrastructure of the university was quite great. Every room had nice quality AC's. The teachers and the teaching methods were also good.
