Overall Rating
In the Mechanical branch at Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar, Professors have good experience. They have good teaching techniques. The institute is good. Lab condition is ok- ok. There is a very bad condition of the workshop at this college. Regular lectures are taken according to the timetable. This college has a very good CAD lab.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in Indira Gandhi Engineering College, it's compulsory to give JEE-Mains according to the score college is allotted. If one scores 40-70 percentile will get admission in this college. This college has 5 branches Mechanical, Electronic and Communication, Civil, Electrical, and Information Technology.
 

Faculty Rating
In the Mechanical Branch, each and every faculty is well-qualified and has a good teaching experience. Their educational background is from NIT's or IIT's. They clear each and every doubt and are very polite in nature. Style of teaching is excellent and uses a smart board & projector. Also, guest faculty is very good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar has a placement cell. There are no offline placements conducted in this college but online placements come in large numbers. Also, placements come but very few in core branches like Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical. Only most placements are for the IT branch.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has its own hostel. Separate for boys and girls hostel. But the hostel condition is very bad.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure is very good. This college has separate blocks for every branch. But its maintenance and painting are not done in time. Also, the college has a very good Library and sufficient books are available for each and every student. But there is no adequate and proper space in the Library to sit and study there.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus is good. It has a very good campus and is in a very good location of 220 acres located on a small hill. The college has good security. The security guards are retired Indian army personnel. This college has different clubs which organise different functions. Tech fest is conducted but not each and every year. And also annual sports is conducted each year.

    The overall experience according to me is quite good. The college is good for study and curriculum activities. I want Information Technology branch so I read many reviews on the internet and chose this particular college because the structure of fees is quite low and for the reserved category.     In my point of view, Indira Gandhi Engineering College provides a great opportunity to study for students who belong middle class and financial background. Due to the autonomous college fee structure is less and you need to pay only 25450 for a year of study.     This college is amazing and you must take admission here for your Bachelor's degree in the technical field. The college is awesome and large infrastructure of around 35 acres of land. Quality of study was good and you love to study here according to my past 3 years of experience. Well-skilled facilities is in the college as well as the supporting administrative staff also there.
