Experience at Yenepoya Medical College

Overall Rating
The quality of education provided here is excellent. The faculty and staff are highly knowledgeable. The campus is calm and cool without any disturbance. It is in the heart of the city, easy to travel, and also the college bus facility is there. 24hrs library clean and tidy restrooms and I love the taste of the food from our Canteen.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing my MSC in Medical Biochemistry a 3 master's program with a stipend in the final year. We need to go through the basics of medical subjects which include Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry and for the other 2 years, we will be studying Biochemistry in detail along with hospital postings in Clinical labs.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors here are highly intelligent persons who are excellent in the subject and also in communication skills. We the PGs were treated like staff here with huge respect and the lectures were very friendly with the students. They make us excel by conducting regular discussions etc. Overall friendly behaviour towards the students.
 

Placement Rating
If the student is excellent in his skills then the lectures will recognise and offer them a job in other branches of Yenepoya. And make him or her be a part of Yenepoya.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar. I don't have any experience of the hostel. But my friends who stay in the hostel praised the cleanliness of the hostel rooms, food, and laundry service given there were excellent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is green. And has a small well-maintained garden to read. Our campus contains 5 blocks which include the Administration Block, Academic Block, IT Block, Nursing Building, Canteen and Spacious place to have food, a 24-hour open digital library, buggies to move around the campus, etc.
 

Campus Rating
We have a cultural fest in our college which is celebrated for 5 days with a variety of themes. Our college will conduct many awareness programs for the public like Diabetes Management and Awareness, Cancer awareness, Cook for the Cause, Helping the Needy by providing Food and Clothes, Free Medical Check-Ups, Campaigns, etc.

    As a MBBS student at Yenepoya Medical College, my overall experience has been positive. The campus is having calm green environment.
