Overall Rating
I chose this particular institute because here patients from most of the central parts of Kerala are admitted, through which we get exposure to a wide variety of medical cases. It is also one of the top three medical colleges in Kerala. I had a very good experience. I was able to learn more about the medical practices and its applications here.
 

Academics Rating
The MBBS course is for four years. The entry into the college is based on the rank and score one gets in NEET, which is done every year. Those within 4000 rank get admission here. They should pass 12th board exam to be eligible. If you want to be a good doctor this is the right place.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in this college is very good. They have a high level of knowledge. They are also very experienced. The faculties are those who have taken post graduation after MBBS. Generally the main style of teaching is by PowerPoint slides. Also, they teach skills that you should have as a doctor through practical periods.
 

Placement Rating
There are no Placement Cells in the college.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are available. Hostel life is very good. The facilities provided are of moderate quality including the food. The hostel fee is about 8000 per year. Infrastructure is moderate. There is a playground and courts for recreational activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are Principal Block and C Block, both are connected. Super Specialty Block and Surgical Block constructions are going on nearby. Lab facilities are available. Also skill labs are provided for each departments in the college. Adequate practical instruments are provided. Lecture halls are air-conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is so good. I made a lot of friends here. It has got a very good crowd from different states of India. Various clubs are organised by the students’ union. They conduct fests like inter-batch arts fest and sports fest. Inter college activities are also held here. We celebrate most of the festivals like Onam, Christmas, etc.
