Government Medical College Kottayam Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus was earlier well surrounded by trees but later on they were cut down for the purpose of building a new surgery and superspeciality block. Academic blocks are C1 and C2 which are 4 storied buildings. Anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry are in one building. Pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology in another. The campus also has a central library.

Campus life is awesome. The union elected by the students conducts programs to give life to the college, which are generally conducted in the college auditorium. College auditorium is located in the old campus. Old campus is the heart of the college. The college also has a beautiful butterfly park which is taken care of by the students.Read Full Review

There are Principal Block and C Block, both are connected. Super Specialty Block and Surgical Block constructions are going on nearby. Lab facilities are available. Also skill labs are provided for each departments in the college. Adequate practical instruments are provided. Lecture halls are air-conditioned.

Campus life is so good. I made a lot of friends here. It has got a very good crowd from different states of India. Various clubs are organised by the students’ union. They conduct fests like inter-batch arts fest and sports fest. Inter college activities are also held here. We celebrate most of the festivals like Onam, Christmas, etc.Read Full Review
