Life at The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad

Overall Rating
EFLU Hyderabad has been my dream university. The reason being that its rank and is among the premiere institutes that are solely dedicated to Arts. My overall experience at the university has been amazing. I am pursuing my Ph.D in English Literature so this had to be the best place I could do it from.
 

Academics Rating
Since the degree I'm enrolled in is a Ph.D program, the entry is possible by 2 means. A student can either sit for the entrance exam and upon clearing it, can appear for the interview and get selected. The entrance exam is exempted for the students who have qualified NET/NET JRF. They can directly appear for the interview. If you are passionate about research, then you can enrol in a doctorate degree.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are exceptional and very well educated. They are masters in their field. I am in the English literature department. They have numerous publications and are experts in their field. The reading courses are very interesting as the course instructors are well updated.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have residential facilities here at the university. The hostels are very good and very student friendly. Even the mess food here is excellent and all the amenities are provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus's infrastructure is very good. We have the academic block, the NAB block, the foreign languages block, a library, a multipurpose sports complex, a jogger’s park, an open air gymnasium, a football ground, a children's park, a distance education block, separate gyms for men and women, and a guest house.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here at EFLU is amazing. The students are so passionate that we have activities here on a regular basis. The crowd is amazing and active in organising a lot of events here on campus. We have a lot of clubs like the theatre club, the music club, the dance club, the poetry club, and the sports club.
