GNE is one of the most prestigious engineering institutions in northern India. It has the best infrastructure and labs in the entire region. Its infrastructure is much better than other private institutions in the region. It has 88 acres of lush green campus. It has an alumni home as well. Overall, it is best engineering college.

There are 6 engineering branches offered along with BBA, MBA, and BCA. Other than this there are 8 masters’ streams in engineering. Students must have cleared JEE Mains to secure a seat in any of the engineering branches. After seats are allotted through JEE Mains, 12th class marks are considered for admission purpose.

GNE holds good faculty members, even the best ones. Teachers have experience of around 20 years in teaching. For new faculty, faculty development program (FDPs) are being organised on a regular basis in our college. Faculty is supportive in all aspects and has good teaching skills. Mostly, the faculty lives in Ludhiana but for some teachers, quarters are allotted.

Our college has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell.

I am a day scholar so I don't know much about hostels but our college has 4 boys’ hostels and 1 girl’s hostel. There's a mess in each hostel as well.

This college has the best infrastructure in entire north India region. It has the best labs equipped with all necessary equipment/devices. For CSE department only we have 3 software labs, 2 project labs, 1 research lab, and 1 operating systems lab. Our college has one open air theatre and 1 auditorium. We have also 5 seminar halls (with the capacity of 100 each).

Overall, the campus life is awesome. We have several societies and clubs at college level and department level as well. At college level, we have ISTE, SCIE, CML, and 90.8 MHz FM community radio station. At department level, there is data science club, causmic club, CSI, SAE, standards club, Aces, ISHRAE, IETE, etc. Annual college festival ‘Anand Utsav’ is held by the cultural committee. GNE's Apex (inter school competitions), Apex fair, and GNE's ACME (inter college competitions) are also being organised yearly by causmic club.
