I joined Avanthi College last year through lateral entry. I completed my diploma in sankethika and I joined in this college through diploma rank. The overall 1 year experience of in this college is ok not so good as compare to other colleges. It is near to my house and the transportation is available for this college. It provides college buses to both boys and girls.

For the students who join through EAMCET rank will must acquire minimum 50000 rank to get a demand branches like CSE and ECE. The fees structure of the college is 60000 per year which is pay by Jagan Anna Vidya Deevana Scheme. If you are not eligible for this scheme you have to pay 60000 per year for every course.

The faculty here are not so good compare to other colleges. Some branches like CSE and ECE are having best lecturers and they teach very well but coming to mechanical and electrical student’s lectures are not so great to explain subjects. They also provide some notes in examination times. The main aim of the lecturers in this college is to make every student to pass.

Yes, we are having a Placement Cell. In Avanthi College the placements in this college are above 60% and the highest package of this college is 20 lakhs per annum and the lowest package of the annum is 3 lakhs. Most of the MNC companies are excited to recruit the students in our college.

I am a day scholar student, but most of my friends are joined in hostel. They felt like home. The hostel rooms are very clean and spacious. For a every room there are 3 beds and one attached bathroom. They charge around 60000 per year to stay in hostel. It provides hostels for both boys and girls.

Coming to the infrastructure, the blocks looks old because of poor maintenance. The college is beside of the roads, there will be some pollution. Mostly the hostel infrastructures are very beautiful. It also provides 24x7 power and water facilities. The environment is very cool and greenery.

The college also conducts so many technical events for students. Some of them are industrial interaction program to provide knowledge to students. It also conducts traditional events and farewell parties for the students. There are NCC and NSS clubs which are useful for the students in physical growth.
