My Journey at Sitamarhi Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience at this college is excellent. It has a nominal fee structure and provides us good facilities as compared to other colleges. This college comes under government. Government provides everything for the students in the college to help them achieve their dreams. The college organises so many things for the welfare of students.
 

Academics Rating
Available courses are computer science, electrical, mechanical, computer science with specialization, civil, and civil with computer applications. The process of admission in this college via JEE mains or BCECE exam. The eligibility criteria is passing 10+2 and obtaining minimum 50% marks. My main motive behind enrolling here is to promote personal development and encourage creativity in innovation and technology field in the era of AI.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good; they are highly qualified and always supportive in any field. The way they teach us well and we understand everything. Faculties take extra doubt sessions for those who missed the class and those who could not understand clearly. In my college, faculty is appointed by giving an entrance exam because it is a government college.
 

Placement Rating
Of course we have a Placement Cell which helps students get jobs in the industry. So many students get placed from the college with the stipend of 7-8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
College provides separate boys’ and girls’ hostels. Facilities we get in our hostels include RO water, electricity, and mess. We have a play ground where we play so many games such as cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is constructed in approx 35 acres where so many buildings are constructed for different purposes such as administrative work, separate boys’ hostel, and separate girls’ hostel. College provides a big play ground for boys and girls where we play so many games such as cricket, badminton football, volleyball, javelin, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience at this college is not good because there is no program or event organised. No fests or hackathon are held in the college, but the college has a start-up cell which helps students to execute their own ideas and the get funds from the government.
