The first reason I choose this college was this was one of the oldest colleges which has great alumni. I used to hear a lot about the college before I joined and it's all true. This college has two main hospitals one is Bapuji Hospital which is the private hospital of college itself which is popularly known for its child health and it has an emergency hospital. Second hospital is Chigateri Government Hospital which is also affiliated to our JJMMC. So we get very well exposed to clinical knowledge which is the main reason I choose this college. There is an enormous outpatient flow which makes you develop your skills and clinical knowledge very well. If you are willing to join a private college in Karnataka then this college should be your top choice.

Speaking about course it is four professional years of academics and one year of internship program where the students are allowed to work alongside doctors and postgraduates. Eligibility is that you should clear NEET exam. You can get in the college through private seats. Both government and private seats are allotted through counseling of Karnataka examination authority. Management quota seats are allotted by college itself.

Professors are really great and very talented. They know how the life of students should be guided very well. All the doctors who teach us are expert in their fields. Their teaching styles are so student friendly and they always know how to get students on track, they are not just professors they are our personal mentors. We have separate tutors who engage tutorials and small group discussions. Also you always have your supporting seniors and postgraduates who are always eager to guide you at every step.

In medical College there's nothing called placements, every one becomes a doctor and everyone have a beautiful path to go on their own.

College has its affiliated hostels separate for boys and girls. You have 3-4 hostels for each boys and girls. Hostel infrastructure is very decent and has study friendly environment. There is definitely no ragging or something because the college management is very strict about it and has Anti ragging squad who always monitor the students.

College has two academic blocks one the old one and the new one. You will have a very big dissection hall and you can find the best anatomical museum of Karnataka in our college which is set up by one of the oldest professors of our college from very long time. You will have one of the biggest libraries of Karnataka which is extended in entire 2 floors with great number of journals, reference books and all. New edition of books are available in the library and also you have the digital library and a separate audio-visual section setup in the library. We also have 2 large separate reading halls for undergraduates and postgraduates.

You will definitely feel the euphoria of the medical college in our campus. The campus life is too good it's entirely a different world. You will stay active always you get to participate in one or more activities. You will get to engage in lot of academic activities and also the extracurricular activities. Fests are the best part of the college management. You will get a lot of opportunities of involving in clubs and crowd activities in the college.
