Firstly, I would like to tell you the things that attracted me to this college; there is a unique degree program, low fee structure (30000-40000 per year), high class facility, and a beautiful campus. I want you to know that it is the no.1 dairy tech college in Asia and holds 4th position in the world. Still, if this information is not satisfactory for taking the admission in this institution, then you have to know that it really provides 100% placement in companies like Amul, Mother Dairy, Nestle, Lactalis, Tetrapack, Perfetti, and many more with the average package of 7-8 lakhs.

Academic of this college is excellent as it holds the topmost position in Asia; it has the most advanced facilities and labs for the practical knowledge of students. They also provide the facilities to students for their research programs. In NDRI, there is a program named IDP through which they send their students abroad to go and get knowledge and internships. The courses they include in their curriculum cover all sectors which are very important. For e.g. food engineering, dairy engineering, food technology, biotechnology, machine design, product technology, operation research, etc. Eligibility is that you should pass your 10th and 12th with science (pcm/ pcmb) stream and give the CUET exam to get the admission in this college.

From my perspective, the background of the teachers is not that important. Still, for your knowledge, faculty and DRI are of very diverse natures. Most of them have studied their course from IITs and from various prestigious universities that are abroad. You will better understand when you come to know the dairy industry or food industries that are abroad. When they get stuck in some problems, they call our professors and staff for identifying their problems and for gathering the solutions to enhance the production of their plant. The style of teaching of our professors is so interesting and they indulge in practical demonstrations. We have no difficulty in studying because in ADRI, there is an enormous facility for practical knowledge, high class machines, and instructions.

Yes, NDRI has its own Placement Cell but it is not needed most of the time because various food and dairy companies that are present in India call our institute on their own for offers of placement. Still, Placement Cell works on a regular basis for development of the personality of our college students, paving the way for the internship programs, and programs created for the pursuing Master's and Ph.D degrees from abroad. Placement Cell in our college weekly organises seminar and webinar programs about various informative and productive skills. I will guarantee you that whatever, wherever you go with the placement of NDRI, you will definitely find our seniors of NDRI acquiring the top most positions of that plant.

Around 7-8 hostels are provided within campus. B.Tech students, M.Tech students, Ph.D students, girls and boys, all have different hostels. A cafeteria is in front of the hostel. Many shops within the campus are provided. A health complex is also there. A mini hospital is there inside the campus where students get free treatment.

Recently, many new buildings have been developed for new courses. We have a dedicated plant for milk processing where students can get real time application and internship. We have milk parlour also where the plant's products are sold. We have a center to educate farmers and a variety of crops are cultivated inside the campus.

Overall, campus is good. Crowd is a little less. Various clubs are run by student organisations like dance club, singing club, poetry club, sports club, acting club, and many more. Our college hosts many powerful people of the country and rest of world like president Murmu, late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, CEO of World Bank, and many more.
