Overall Rating
My college experience is average. It's a semi government college so it can be a good choice for students. I chose this college because it is the best college near my house. You need to get more than 70% for general category to get into this college. The college hosts many seminars and the environment of the college is very nice. The fee of the college for is moderate i.e. not so high. The college has many different programs that you can get admission for.
 

Academics Rating
I'm doing BA Honours political science. Academics wise, syllabus and curriculum of the college are very good and it comes under WBSU board. For getting into this program, you need to pass class 12 under a recognized board with decent marks. I'm doing this very course because I was highly interested in political science from my school days.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of the college is very nice. All the teachers are very helpful and understanding. They all take their scheduled classes and teach well. Most of the teacher uses Bengali and English language for teaching. Teachers are highly educated in their respective fields and give equal importance to every student. Apart from teachers, staff of the college is also very nice, understanding and helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Placement in the college very is rare. As it is not a engineering college, placements are not very frequent. Very few placement opportunities are there.
 

Hostel Rating
Talking about hostel, there are no hostel facilities provided by the college. You have to go for PGs if you are coming from a distance.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the college very good. Campus of the college is very big. There are two campuses. One is science building and another one is for arts and commerce. Both campuses are located in different places. In arts and commerce campus there is a big canteen, big ground, library, etc. Arts and commerce campus is very big. Classrooms of this campus are average. Different departments have different classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
College organises yearly fests every year and invites big artists. College also celebrates saraswati puja, bosonto utsav, and many more events and celebrations. College has many clubs you can be a part of like NCC, sports, dance, singing, etc. Campus is located near Ganga river so environment is very nice and cool. Whole campus is filled with different flowers and trees which provide good and peaceful environment.

    It's a very good college that provides best courses at reasonable fees and there are autonomous courses too. They always put students forward as they think about them very much and also it's the first college in West Bengal to enter 5th NAAC cycle.
