Engineering Life at IIMT

Overall Rating
My time in the college was good. The college has a well maintained building for each branch and each branch has its own defined library. The books are easily accessible to the students. I have opted for this course as I have interest in the field of computers. I am eager to solve real world problem with the help of my skills and this eagerness made me opt for this course.
 

Academics Rating
The college academic is average. They mainly focus on text book study rather being more focused on the practical implementation. There are total of 8 semesters which we need to study. In each semester we need to study about 5 to 6 subjects with their practical implementation. At the end of each semester, we need to give semester exams which help us move into the next semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty staff is very well qualified. Majority has Masters degrees and some of them have Ph.D degrees. Their teaching methodology is very good and their notes are written in very simple language. They solve all doubts of the students and also arrange doubt sessions for the students if needed.
 

Placement Rating
The placement record of the college is good. Nearly 85% students get placed every year. The average package is 3 LPA. The highest package was 11 LPA and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The companies that visit campus for hiring are Oracle, Webkul, Rightwave, Cognizant, and many more.
 

Hostel Rating
The infrastructure of the hostel is well maintained. They have Wi-Fi facility and its speed is very good. It does not have lift facility for the students. Two students are accommodated in each room and cost of one room for 1 student for a year is nearly 90,000. The only problem with the hostel is mess food. It does not have good taste and it is totally not good for health.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college building is very good. It has various facilities like AC within the labs, water coolers, and many more facilities. There are separate blocks for canteens where students can go to eat in their free time. The buildings are located at some distance from the college hostel.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of an average student is very good. You will meet different kinds of people and will experience their culture. There are different kinds of clubs like tech club, coding club, drama club, and many more which are present within the college. There are fests that occur once or twice in a year.

    I took in admission in this college in 2022 in B.Tech course. I got admission on merit basis. The college campus and infrastructure is so good and vast.
