The Placement Rate of IIMT Greater Noida is around 70%

The overall experience at IIMT College of Engineering Greater Noida is pretty well. One of the best aspects of studying at this College in my opinion is its focus on building professionalism among students. To foster it, there is a certain attendance criterion, uniform code for different days and also Personality Development Program Classes in order to help students develop the skills needed for their professional life. The academic orientation of this College is as per the need of the time.

The course that I choose is Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence And Data Science. I choose this course because the future is Artificial Intelligence. The minimum requirement of admission in this course is a total 45% mark in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths). The College fortunately offers direct admission to the student making it easier to get admission in this College. We have very frequent exams at the College.

The registration fee for admission is Rs. 2000/-. Then the yearly fees tuition Fees is Rs. 91,300/-, Industrial Exposure fee is Rs. 10,000/-, Library fee is Rs. 5000/-, Personality Development Program + English fee is Rs. 10,000/-. ERP charges are Rs. 800/-, Admin Charges are Rs. 3700/-, and Research and Development fee is Rs. 20,000/-. These make up for the total fee of Rs. 1,40,800/-.

The faculty members are well-qualified and most of them hold their masters degree and Ph.Ds in their respective fields. All the faculty members, including the new members have a minimum experience of 4 to 5 years in the felid of teaching, with some having an experience of more than 15 years. The method of teaching comprises of both PPTs and blackboards. Teachers also make use of other methods. All the necessary equipment are also made available to the students. There is one professor per 50 students for a lecture and one mentor per 25 students. I had a good experience with the faculty members as they are helpful and kind in nature and also teach well.

The placements of the College are good. The College offers placements to minimum 70% of the students every year who fulfill the educational requirements for placements. Also, the College has its placement cell which help students to get placement.

Yes, the College offer separate hostels for boys and girls. There are two people in one hostel room, 2 to 3 wardens per hostel with 2 to 3 security guards. The hostel also has a mess and students can choose between AC rooms and non-AC Rooms. The fee for College hostel is around Rs. 1,20,000/- for non-AC rooms and it is around Rs. 1,40,000/- for AC rooms. This fee is inclusive of the mess charges. The hostellers have to enter the hostel by 8 PM. And, if a student wants to exit the hostel premises, they would need a gate pass issued by the hostel warden.

IIMT College of Engineering Greater Noida has separate academic buildings for each program. For my program the College has two dedicated blocks. The class size for each class is 50 students. The College has a vast campus built on 10+ acres of land. Also, the College offers separate libraries for each block. A large number of seminar halls and conference halls are also there at our College. And, there is an outdoor auditorium and an indoor auditorium facility too. Also, there is a spacious food court named ‘Isthara’, which has 6 active cafeterias in it. My personal favorite thing about the infrastructure of the College is the food court and the sports grounds.

My overall campus life is pretty good as I have a lot of friends from many departments of the College. The College has a decent crowd of educated students making it a successful hub for education. Also, there are many cultural clubs which often organize events regularly. These frequent events not only add fun to the life of the College life of the students but also make them comfortable to participate in activities other than academics. Besides that there are 2 to 3 annual fests organised by the College each year. The College also offers many sports events related to sport activities like Cricket, Basketball, Kho-kho, Chess, Tug Of War, etc.
